Hansk New Materials Research & Development Director Dr. KC Ho was honored to be invited as a plenary medal speaker to The Textile Bioengineering and Informatics Society (TBIS) on 23 August 2023. Dr. Ho topic on “Innovative Mosquito Repellent Technology for Textiles and Clothing” aims to arouse participants of the TBIS on the severity of the mosquito-borne diseases and development of wearable mosquito repellent (anti-mosquito clothing).
TBIS is a charitable organization created to foster, develop and promote all aspects of science and technology in the bioengineering of materials, fibers and textiles, and to study how fibers, textiles and clothing influence human biology, medicine, behavior and health, as well as human living environments. TBIS conference is co-organized with Institute of Natural Fibres & Medicinal Plants, which is situated in Poznan Poland
