Hansk establish a new Research & Development Center at Keqiao District, Shaoxing
A New Research & Development Center at Keqiao district, Shaoxing city of Zhejiang province, China is set up by Hansk New Materials Holdings Ltd.
Keqiao district of Shaoxing City is one of the largest textile production bases in the China. It also comprises more than 200 large textile dyeing, printing and finishing factories. With China textile city as its biggest competitive edge, Keqiao district has the competition sewn up and is leading the way to an optimistic future for China’s textile industry.
Hansk has established a new Research & Development Center at Keqiao district in April 2018, with the aim to develop new anti-insect and multi-functional additives to textile substrates as well as to improve current products meeting with high customer quality and safety satisfaction.
The center is led by Dr. KC Ho, the Research & Development Director of Hansk. He served ten years as the Director (Research & Development) of the Hong Kong Research Institute of Textiles and Apparel and is now Adjunct Professor of the Institute of Textiles and Clothing, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University; Honorary Associate Professor of the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Hong Kong; and Visiting Professor of universities in China, i.e. Donghua University, Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, Soochow University, etc. His research team also consists of professors and researchers from various universities/research institutions in China, Hong Kong and Overseas.
